Is Verizon producing a new HTC Android phone system?

Wednesday, September 8, 2010 |

Verizon will launch a new HTC-made Android mobile according to FCC documents.

The phone system will be able to roam globally because it has a GSM 850 MHz band and is on the Verizon CDMA EV-DO Rev A network.

The HTC device has a slide-out Qwerty keyboard and it looks similar to other HTC phones like the Nexus One and the Evo.

Verizon has brought out two other Android phones this summer, the Droid X and Droid, both of which are made by Motorola.
