Switching to VoIP Phone System saves costs

Switching to a voice-over-internet-protocol (VoIP) phone system saves costs, according to David Sims, a contributing editor to Tmcnet.

He said that saving money is the main factor which would cause SMBs to switch from traditional phone systems to VoIP phone systems like a hosted IP PBX.

" A VoIP phone system can give client features that SMBs would not otherwise be able to afford," Mr Sims explained.

"VoIP enables a broader array of features compared to traditional analogue phone systems. Therefore it improves productivity, delivers exceptional business intelligence and enhances customer satisfaction."

He added: "VoIP is becoming the standard business communication for any size of company."

An IP PBX telephone system creates cost savings because sending voice or video data over the internet is cheaper than having a normal telephone contract.

SMBs do not need to spend money on a new phone system as they can use a hosted IP PBX which is scalable according to the size of the company.
